Medik8 Skin Needling procedures are performed in a very safe and precise manner. The procedure is normally completed within 60 minutes. After the skin is numbed, a qualified skin therapist gently rolls a dermaroller over the skin to puncture the outermost layers to create microscopic wounds which in turn stimulate new collagen synthesis. These micro-punctures close within less than an hour.
A course of three Medik8 Skin Needling Treatments, at 6-8 week intervals, is usually recommended to achieve optimum results; however visible signs of skin rejuvenation are often seen after just one treatment.
